Ben Bowen King

Guitarist Ben Bowen King has recorded a variety of CDs reflecting American folk music, including cuts that have been featured by the Smithsonian Institute’s Folkway label and anthologies with Pete Seeger, Woody Guthrie and Bob Dylan. His most recent CD, A Laying On Of  Hands features America’s classic hymns on solo guitar. In addition, he manages the Talking Taco Music label, producing over 60 releases featuring a variety of music. He also presents concerts and “informances” about America’s “healing” gospel music heritage.
