Mary Abbay Gourley

Mary received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Tulane University and a Masters of Music from the University of Memphis. She played professionally in Chez Philippe at the Peabody Hotel. In New Orleans, Mary Abbay played at the Westin, Inter-Continental, Fairmont, and Le Pavillon Hotels. There, she also performed at times with the Louisiana Philharmonic, the New Orleans Opera and Ballet and for many Broadway Productions. She teaches Orff music in Memphis City Schools, and substitutes with the Memphis Symphony and Tupelo Symphony.
